With fall right around the corner,
I look back at the summer with mixed emotions:
there were some fun Plein Air paintout events,
but dismal sales for most artists...
Happily, the above painting sold during
the San Juan Preservation Trust's Quickdraw Auction,

at Crow Valley Pottery on Orcas Island...
Then six fun little pieces showing
at Cafe La Boheme in the village on Lopez Island.
